PODCAST

Our community strengthens…

Xavier Woods

I'm not sure how this hasn’t got any coverage. Tennessee Titans Safety Xavier Woods had to work at Smoothie King this spring before becoming a franchisee.

ICYMI, our episode with Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler is out now!

We chat about how streaming got him into tech, pivoting, highs and lows of the journey, and more…

”GROWTH” CONSULTANTS
BE WARY…

So in my conversation with Austin, he opened up about getting burned by “growth” consultants. These folks were in charge of fractionally helping Austin and Eksperience expand into various markets.

As Austin explains on the podcast, they ended up hurting the business because the product was too early, so the roadmap was unclear. Eksperience was paying extra to grow an unfinished product pre Product Market Fit.

This is not the first time I’ve heard this situation from our community. Everyone wants to help “grow the business” but until you have a real business, what are you growing?

Because of the brand appeal of many athletes, everyone offers their services. But for many, it’s just an opportunity to beef up their client roster list on their website to impress people.

In my opinion, until you find Product Market Fit, you probably need to hold off on anyone promising the world for a product that’s mostly incomplete.
