This is Italian for “The art of doing nothing”…

Brian Urlacher was one of the best defensive players in NFL history, yet he went through 4 different financial advisors and made lots of investing mistakes (like we’ve all done). If Brian could have changed one thing, it would have been to start a business he can be hands off with while playing to generate sustainable secondary income.

My biggest takeaway from our conversation is sometimes we want to do more, but the smart move is to do less. What I appreciate about Brian is that he knows himself, he knows his boundaries, and doesn’t feel like he needs to be a fake investor/operator/entrepreneur like a lot of people try make themselves out to be.

So Brian has come to peace that weekly rounds of golf and the occasional check up on his landscaping business are the right formula for him. And that’s it. Capiche?
